Reminder: Some S&W models come in both a round butt and a square butt version. Use model number to look up Grip Frame on chart of Smith & Wesson Model Numbers. Model number should be two or three digits, e.g. Need the model number, which should be stamped in the metal above the hinge as you open the cylinder. Determining Grip Frame (Using Model Number):.
